ok basically it was a gay-themed tale set
in the macho sanctity of the West,
which many would reject it...
esp. for those who came from a land of manlier-than-thou men...orite same for the gals, as we did gasp and cringe at some scenes.
But i would say It was beautifully shot.

With both actors Heath Ledger & Jake Gyllenhaal giving a beautifully clenched performance.
I have mixed feelings for this movie...if i am
1) ...gay
i will be wiping away my tears fore this movie is like all great love stories, one of tragic romance, a story of forbidden love...
read "Romeo & Juliet" , "Titanic"
2) ...straight
it made me HOMOPHOBIC...
yes with almost 70% of my closest frens being gay..
i thought i could handle this movie well...but fuck i was wrong...
i cringe the moment when they hug "oh so tightly" & lock lips into passionate kiss...
& yes i am kinda still spinning now..
But still this movie deserve a 3.5 outa 5
A Thought to ponder on..
Why is it that we are most likely to
cringe at the sight of 2 men kissing but not when its 2 gals?
