 Lesson 3
SELF PORTRAIT AND SAFARI FANTASY
(Paul Klee inspired)

- WATER COLOR PAPER
- BRUSH
- ART TISSUE PAPER
- BLACK PERMANENT MARKER

Being inspired by, Paul Klee, known for his child-like use of line and color.…
The little one drew a safari scene as well as a self portrait with strong, firm lines,
adding on elements of whichever he prefer.
With a wet paint brush in hand, he was meticulous in placing
and applying water over the squares of art tissues on top of his art work,
allowing the tissue to "bleed".
While the little one was enjoying picking the dry tissue pieces off,
masterpiece, under the influence of Surrealism, Expressionism and Cubism,
with a style of his own was revealed.
